Some of you certainly wonder what these manga characters are here?

As I say in http://digitalhuman.joueb.com/news/22.shtml, my passion for cyborgs and more generally for artificial life comes from a exceptionnal manga serie, Ghost In The Shell. In this manga, even more "biological" humans own cybernetic implants to be wired to the internet. We follow adventures of the Section 9, a special unit also known as the cybernetic police. The 2° boss of this unit is Motoko, the delightful woman who look you on the first page. Bato is the strong man of the team, the kind of guy that like contact with others. So, if he says "we shoot only if necessary" when he makes a kind visit to yakuza, you'd better not forgett ammunitions!

So, understand their virtual presence on my blog as a symbol of what I imagine, of what could come within the next century... af what I dream of. Yes, that's true, I dream of a world as I can see in this manga!
